Order the Book That Will Prepare You

For Successful Backcountry and

Wilderness Elk Hunting - With Safety,

Confidence and Comfort

I published the book to help educate hunters because 43 years of hunting made our lives extremely   rich   in immaterial    values    of    the    Colorado    backcountry.    My intent    was    to share hunting riches with the next generations, even though an enticingly illustrated book would be a money-losing effort. The cost of the book is $35 plus $5 for taxes, postage and shipping. Please send a check or money order for $40 US made out to Peter Groth to the address below. Clearly print your name and your address, and complete shipping address (we will directly ship gift copies to your friends) and include these with the payment. Add $3.00 per copy if you wish US Postal Service Priority Shipping. If you arre dubious of our integrity, contact us and we will ship a book copy to you and send you an invoice. Click here to send us an email. Bonus: A free eye-opening booklet "How Game Animals See and Smell" will be inclused as long as supplies last.   Send payment to: Peter Groth 13518 West Alaska Drive Denver, Colorado 80228-2456 Note: Domestic US orders only. Please email contact us for multiple copies prices, or for consignment sales at Click Here Why we can not estimate exact sales taxes at time of sale (we pay the taxes from our sales price). The Colorado Revenue Department implemented an onerous new sales tax system. Every sale must be taxed for the recipients shipping address. There are over 650 Colorado taxing entities, plus many multiple overlapping jurisdictions, and special tax districts. Add to this confusion the reality that tax rates are always changing. Some towns require purchase of an annual sales tax license even if just one sale is shipped to its jurisdiction. I simply do not have the daily tax compuation and monthly filing time and money to hire an accounting service for a few sales that results in maybe a five-dollar profit. What an affront and “bummer” the tax changes are to me and all the other Colorado crypto-businesses! I wrote the expensively illustrated book to get Colorado families into the wild to enjoy the great outdoors. This would generate additional Colorado tax and Parks and Wildlife income. Disgruntled, I am!
